BIOGRAPHY
Hello my name is Ashley!
As you can guess, I’m just a girl that does indeed enjoy video games! My love for gaming really started when I was about 7 years old, during mostly the N64, GameCube, and PlayStation 2 era. The first ever games I bought were Kingdom Hearts, Paper Mario, Super Mario64, Final Fantasy VII, and Mario Kart: Double Dash!
As the years go by, I’ve been able to get even the older consoles and to be able to experience and play some of those games as well. The older consoles, (NES, SNES) come from one of my older cousins who aren’t really into video games anymore so he gave them to me knowing that I would take care of them more than just selling piece of gaming history to some stranger at a garage sale.
Over the years my interest in games range from a lot, though I do have my personal favorite series and genres that I enjoy. In terms, favorite video game series, it’s Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Xenoblade Chronicles, Dragon Quest, Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Kirby, and Sonic. As you can see, a lot of these come from the platformer or RPG genre; those are some of my favorite games to play.
WHAT IS A GAMING GIRL’S DIARY
A Gaming Girl Diary is a blog that post about gaming news and diary entries on what goes on in relevant gaming news. I also do reviews of games, maybe do game comparisons, breakdown analysis for trailers, do regular list ranking and ranking games, and much more if you guys have any ideas! You guys the readers, can tell me what else you would like to see from this blog. I do like want this thing to grow into some kind of community and give recommendations on what games I should play. It doesn’t always have to be a platformer or an RPG all the time, even if those are my favorite to play.
I do think this would just be a good place to write down all of my thoughts on everything going on in the gaming world and telling all of my experiences in one place! Don’t know if I’ll do stuff like streaming or content create for YouTube, but for now this blog is going to have to do. I’m very excited to have this aspect of gaming analysis and see where this blog goes.
