Well, we got our first direct for a brand new decade, and this was definitely not expected at all. On Thursday, January 9th, we are getting a Pokemon focused direct. The direct will be around for 20 minutes for a live stream presentation. No further information has been announced for what kind of content will be shown at the direct. Though, a lot of fans are theorizing that we could be getting some information on Pokemon Home.

For those that probably don’t remember, since it has been a while since we’ve last heard about Home, here is what is known so far about Pokemon Home:

Introducing Pokémon HOME, a cloud service that will work with Nintendo Switch and iOS and Android devices, allowing you to bring over the Pokémon that you’ve shared adventures with throughout your journey.

Pokémon HOME isn’t tied to a single game system, meaning you can connect with Pokémon Bank, along with #PokemonLetsGo, #PokemonSwordShield, and #PokemonGO. It also features trading functionality.

The upcoming direct will be livestreamed on 6:30 A.M. PT other times included are:
